Greetings from Morocco🇲🇦, the Land of Football!
Is this the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Morocco?
The country has always been known for its stunning landscapes like the Sahara Desert and the Atlas Mountains, as well as its rich culture and cuisine.
Yet since the country’s successes in the 2022 FIFA World Cup, becoming the first African country to reach the semi-finals, the answer now is probably a resounding YES!
Morocco has capitalised its wave of football success, branding itself as the Land of Football and also:
🇲🇦 Hosting the 2023 Confederation Africaine de Football (CAF) Awards
🇲🇦 Hosting some of the qualifying matches for the 2023 African Cup of Nations
🇲🇦 Will be hosting the 2025 African Cup of Nations Tournament
🇲🇦 Will be one of six countries hosting the World Cup for its centenary in 2030.
